The temperatures here in Galicia are set to hit 38°c at the weekend. Stone building has stopped until the temp drops. But work on my She-Shed continues. We're pointing stones under a canopy.

Spray water into crevices, prevents new mortar drying out too quickly. Push lime mortar into cleaned out, damp crevices, using a small trowel
First step, clean out crevices with wirebrush Brush off dirt, moss and lichen from stone faces
When new mortar is dry to touch, clean out using wirebrush. Don't let it dry too much! And Ta-Da, a beautifully finished wall gracing my She-Shed.
One wall pointed only three to go. 🥴💖
A new hawk kindly made for me using an old Galician one as a pattern. Now to point three more walls.🥴🥴
